This happened last week.  You know Shirley Phelps? The crazy, religious, hate spewing bitch with horrible teeth representing the Westboro Baptist Church? WBC what what!! The people that protest funerals of soldiers, gay people, anyone who isn't WBC, etc.

Well The Dean Blundell Show from 102.1 The EDGE radio station (http://www.edge.ca) along with some other Christian radio station in the U.S. managed to convince the aforementioned psychopath lunatic to call up her loony bin, crack pot followers and encourage them to refrain from protesting a little girl's funeral in Arizona, the SAME young girl (9 years old) who was the youngest of the 6 people murdered. The attempted target was that politician woman Gabrielle Giffords but 6 people were caught in the cross fire.  

THIS WOMAN IS FUCKING INSANE. JUST AS MUCH IF NOT MORE THAN THE PSYCHOPATH WHO MURDERED ALL THESE PEOPLE. 

Their whole purpose behind the protest is a little baffling, as is religion in general but basically they are saying that tragedies such as this one and similar ones as well as soldiers being killed in combat are acts perpetrated by God in order to send the message that homosexuals are going to burn in hell. 

...Right...

I haven't posted for a little while. (When I originally wrote this, I wrote "have", I'm an idiot) Exam period, Christmas, etc bogged me down. I'm back tho, and I've got plenty of material to post on. In other words I'm just making excuses for being a fucking lazy bastard who was too lazy, too drunk and too self-indulged in video games to bother posting. Apparently, in order to preserve the rest of the trees on the planet (because trees can't be replanted or grown again) and not waste paper (because paper is not recyclable) the WWF has designed their own version of the PDF file format. One that cannot be printed. So basically, if someone hits this stupid feature "Save as WWF" and sends the file to you and you WANT to print off the PDF so you can read it later when you do not have computer access, well guess what? Thats right, the idiots at WWF decided you should only read the document on the computer.

I'd honestly like to see what leaves a bigger carbon footprint, printing off the page and putting it in the recycling when finished with it, or keeping the document in a filing cabinet ORRRRRR the amount of power your computer consumes to repeatedly access and view the document each time you need to review it.

Ideally it seems like a good idea but not too practical.

This has to do with the government because the FDA sent warning letters to four energy drink manufactures regarding the linking between becoming an alcoholic and the consumption of energy drinks.

Apparently people who consume energy drinks are far more likely to consume large quantities of alcohol.

Considering that I used to drink energy products religiously when I was in college I figure I now have someone to blame for my vast consumption of beer.

It's true. the worst WORST WORST thing a pharma company can do is release a pill or some sort of injection that you take which cures whatever ailment you have. The real money is in treatments. Treatments which are continuous, on going, never ending.

Example: Ibogaine, although a hallucinogen drug, it has been proven to help heroin and meth addicts kick their habits. PROVEN!!! It has been proven by scientific, medical studies to KICK WHAT HAS BEEN DESCRIBED AS THE HARDEST ADDITION TO GET RID OF. Buuuuttttt why would drug companies not want to take advantage of this? Despite the fact that you can treat these addicts with methadone (keyword: "treat"), Ibogaine fits into the category of "cures" and pharma companies do not associate themselves with cures as if this does not fit the status quo.
